Tutorial - Desaturate Skin by larafairie-stock Tutorial - Desaturate Skin by larafairie-stock
A basic tutorial for photoshop to desaturate skin.
Made for Photoshop 7, but I'm guessing it will help with other versions.

Not to shabby =) good effective way of doing it, I would be tempted to use a hue saturation mask layer. as this is a non destructive way

Cool little tutorial... But doesnt "hue and saturation" achive the same effect?

I know the selecting a desaturasion brush allows you to desaturate what you want (thats proberbly your point lol) but i just thing th hue saturation option is alot quicker and easier *shrugs* good tutorial for those who don't know aobut it

I know but the saturation button only does the whole face, this is to change parts of the face so some colour stays intact.
